Discipline is not about blind obedience,

But right thinking and responsible behaviour

It is the development of the child - head, heart and hand.


The department believes that every pupil can exercise self-discipline. Discipline is an educative process and it takes time. Success in discipline is achieved when pupils innately embody the school values and code of behaviour. Centred on this belief is the department's stance in the discipline process. It comes under 5 key areas -


• Support - Children learn best in a supportive environment

• Teach - An integral part of discipline is instruction.

• Exercise - Practice makes perfect. Practice makes habit.
• Re-Direct – Students need to be re-orientated and guided towards the right direction. 

• Promote – Providing avenues to encourage positive behaviour from students.
